Wood is invaluable gift of nature to the mankind. Since the inception, man has been exploiting wood to fulfill its physiological needs. However, with the rapid growth of industrialization and insatiable demand of wood in all spheres of life, it has led to relentless cutting of timber and hence disappearance of precious forest wealth, leading to grave ecological imbalance and even threatening our own existence. Thus, it is for our own goodness and that of our future generations, we harness it with responsibility so that we can live in tandem with the nature and appreciate the beauty of god's creation.
Creative usage of wood in various design possibilities can be realized to perfection by using Veneers. Usage of Veneers is a conservative endeavor. Instead of using precious wooden planks in furniture and office or household interiors, wood can be peeled or sliced into thin veneer leaves and made into plywood for achieving the same end result but reduce our dependence on nature. One cubic meter of solid wood can produce approximately 80 sq. m of wooden panels of 12 mm thickness, whereas one cubic meter of same wood can be used to produce 1600 sq. m. of Veneer of 0.6 mm thickness, which can further be processed to produce 1600 sq. m. of decorative plywood. Both the products, i.e., wooden panels and decorative plywood will achieve similar purpose, but usage of latter will drastically reduce the need of precious wood and hence shall help in minimizing cutting of timber.
Reconstituted Veneers & Burls, which are derived from stem and root of trees respectively, are ether available in abundance of harnessed as agricultural crop. This is again effort to preserve invaluable natural wealth.
CP Burls and Veneers are available in standard size of 8'x 4' & thickness of 4.0 mm. Although, different sizes and thickness can be customized, as per the requirement.
