  Day 3:
Jaipur:
In the morning after the breakfast drive to Amber, the ancient Rajput capital, located on a hill 11km north of Jaipur. En route to Amber, there will be a brief photo stop at the 'Hawa Mahal' (known as the Palace of Winds. Built in 1799, it is a remarkable facade structure, constructed of red sandstone overlooking one of the main streets, specifically meant for the ladies of the Royal family, who would sit behind the trellis screens and comfortably observe the activities on the streets without being seen). Whilst visiting the palace you will be able to explore the intricate chambers and hallways, the maze of passages and courtyards and witness the wonderful views of the Jal Mahal water palace below.

In the afternoon visit, the City Palace (in the heart of the old city, which occupies a large area divided into a series if courtyards, gardens & buildings. A portion of which has been converted into museum housing royal artefacts, art, carpets, enamelware & old weapons), Central Museum (is housed in the impressive Albert Hall in the Ram Niwas Gardens. The upper floor contains portraits of the Jaipur maharajas & many other miniatures & artwork. The ground floor has a collection of costumes and wood work from different parts of Rajasthan and description of the people & life in the rural areas of the state), Jantar Mantar (observatory built by the astronomer Maharaja Jai Singh, a curious collection of sculptures each of which has a specific purpose such as measuring the position of the stars, altitudes and calculating eclipses), Return back to the Hotel for Overnight stay.

  Day 4:
Jaipur- Agra:
In the morning after breakfast drive (235 km) down to Agra. En route visit FATEHPUR SIKRI (The deserted sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri was designed as a tribute to the Sufi saint, Sheikh Salim Chishti, who had predicted the birth of Akbar's son and heir, was begun in 1571 - 1585 and was abandoned just 15 years later due to a shortage of water. Today' its is a perfectly preserved example of Mughal architecture which was at height during that era. The monument worth a visit is, Jama Masjid (or Dargarh Mosque which is similar to the mosque in Mecca and it is a beautiful buidling containing elements of Persian and Hindu reign). The main entrance Buland Darwza (the Gate of Victory, constructed to commemorate Akbar's victory in Gujarat), Palace of Jodha Bai (north east of the mosque named after Jehangir's mother who was the daughter of the Maharaja's of Amber. Here again the architecture is a blend of styles with Hindu colmuns and Muslims cupolas), Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds is a projecting room with walls made entirely of stone lattice work. The ladies of the court proably sat in here to keep a quiet eye on the events below), Palace of Christian Bride (close to Jodha Bai Palace, this house was used by Akbar's Goan wife Maryam and at one time ws gilded throughout-giving it a name the Golden House). There are lots of other monuments which are artiscally rich in details.
Arrive Agra and check-in into Hotel for overnight stay.
