Indian culture is a color of different ethnic groups, languages, religions, geography and traditions.
The Indian Himalaya has people believing in Buddhism with Tibetan culture with main feature of this area is Buddhist monastery and culture, Kashmiri once upon a time all Buddhist and now Muslim with beautiful valleys, Himachali believing in Hinduism with different language and culture. North India has Art and Architecture of Mughal period, 1000 of years old temples and Golden temple in Punjab. Centuries of invasion
have made Punjabis, Jats and other north Indian people a curious mix of wanting to try new things while retaining their conservatism. The western Indian states of Gujarat and Maharashtra have Temples, National Parks and fast developing cities of Mumbai. The east, as represented by West Bengal, considers itself the repository of Indian culture. The northeast is closer in its values and traditions to South East Asia than India. South Indians are viewed as conservative, though are anything but. The south has led the country on social achievements and many parts are an excellent mix of progress while retaining traditional value systems. India was birthplace of two of the world's great religions (Hinduism and Buddhism) and one of its smallest Janism. It's also home to the world's few remaining communities of Parsis, adherents of faith of Zoroastrianism.
