Rupshu - Changthang Wilderness Safari |
| |
The sham valley of Ladakh falls to western part of Ladakh and is known for its apricots and apples. We drive along the Srinagar Highway and stay in the small hamlet of Alchi where we are amazed with the astounding murals dating back to 1000 AD. From there stay in Tingmosgang - a village known for its finest Apricots. The Old Palace atop the mountain is a charming spot as we can see the entire village down. We continue our exploration of Sham valley as we visit Lamayuru, Saspol & Rizong villages. The tour is further made more interesting as we enter Nubra valley in the north of Leh. |
