Trekking
   
  Sikkim is a naturalist's paradise. Because of its low warm valleys and the high alpine region, there is a variety of wild life, butterflies and ferns, palms, orchids and forests of rhododendron. The best period to trek in Sikkim is from March May and September - November. There are several trek to offer in Sikkim in Khangchandzonga area for around seven to ten days walk of verdant forests, & hadadendron - covered hill sides, yakherderg, remote monasteries, Glaciers, high passes, Jagged peaks, and magnificent mountain views.
   
  Yuksom-Dzongri-Gochala Trek
   
  The Golacha Trek is most popular trek in Sikkim with spectacular view of Kanchanjunga (8586m). There should at least four person to get permit and for the trek. The trek starts from Yuksom (1630m) and follows the trail along the spine of the Singelila Range to the 4940 m high Gocha-la. Further it follows through the ancient grazing trail of the yak herdsmen. It is the domain of lakes, glacial valleys, gurgling streams, cascades, chiseled snow peaks, yak pastures, forests, Rhododendrons, wildlife, birds are main feature of this trek. The best view of Kanchenjunga can have from the Gocha-la pass at 4940m.
   
  Gangtok Trek
   
  This trek starts with a drive to Yuksom via Pemayangtse, where the second oldest monastery of Sikkim is located built in 1705. There after visit Rabdantse Palace Ruins or trek to Sangachoeling Monastery. Reach Yuksom where the first king of Sikkim was consecrated in 1642 A.D. It is set in loneliness and tranquility amidst the beautiful mountainous backdrop. Start your trek through dense verdant semi tropical forests, occasionally crossed by crystal clear rivulets and cascading waterfalls up to Praig Chu. A gradual up hill walk along a well-marther up hill from Phedang, Dzongri commands a panoramic view of snow capped mountainrked track leads you through fascinating rhododendron forests running riot with colours. Fu peaks. Have fantastic views of mountain peaks including Kanchenjunga and Pandin. Return Trek to Tsokha and trek to Yuksom.
   
  Darjeeling Trek
   
  and second it starts ascending up to the Parang La pass and the great views of The trek starts from Maneybhanjan, one and half-hour drive from Darjeeling. The trail involves a vertical climb for most part and reaches Tongl Tonglu faces Darjeeling and Kurseong and commands an excellent view of Kanchenjunga. Trek towrds through Sandakphu offers the best views of Mt. Everest and Kanchenjunga ranges. Walking along the Singelila ridge you can have watchful gaze of the snowy peaks and the landscape is very beautiful and full of life. The rest of the trek passes through meadows and small villages. The trek finished at Rimbick is a small village with a little market from where you will drive back to Darjeeling.
